The Risk & Insurance Education Alliance is excited to introduce you to a vital member of our team, Mandy Alvarado, the Director of Event Operations. Her journey with us has not only been long-standing but also pivotal in shaping the experiences we deliver through our educational events.
Mandy’s journey in the events industry began 25 years ago when she joined the Alliance, initially preparing program materials for our classroom courses. Before long, she progressed to planning the classroom events and traveling onsite to coordinate them. She thoroughly enjoyed the travel, meeting participants, and collaborating with our faculty.
As the Director of Event Operations, Mandy oversees various programs, from webinars and classroom courses to board meetings and team-building initiatives. Her role involves managing a skilled team to ensure consistent delivery of outstanding experiences that surpass expectations. Mandy is passionate about working with our amazing participants and finds immense joy in celebrating their achievements.
Mandy’s approach to leadership in event operations is a balance of technical excellence and empathetic interactions, ensuring that our events not only run smoothly but also resonate on a personal level with our participants.
Outside of her professional role, Mandy’s life is rich with family time, supporting her daughter’s academic pursuits, enjoying football games, and engaging in DIY projects.
