Honoring Our Departing 2024 Board Members

The Risk & Insurance Education Alliance recently honored their CIC and Academy Board Members whose Board terms are set to conclude at the end of 2024. These distinguished members have not only led with imagination, innovation, integrity, and inspiration, but also provided invaluable insights that have shaped The Alliance’s approach to education, curriculum development, and industry responsiveness. In recognition of their dedication, each member’s legacy will carry on through Advanced Subscription Scholarships awarded to promising individuals in their names.

The scholarships awarded include:

Gabe Portillo, CIC, scholarship awarded to Dalton Enger.

Karen Reynolds, CIC, scholarship awarded to Allison Scher.

David M. Saldon, CIC, Scholarship awarded to Claire Cameron.

S. Cole Tucker, Jr., CIC, CRM, LUTCF, Scholarship awarded to Raelyn Acosta.

These scholarships reflect the honorees’ commitment to mentoring the next generation and enhancing access to professional development resources within the Risk & Insurance Education Alliance Programs. Each recipient, supported by the legacy of these leaders, will benefit from advanced learning opportunities to build their expertise in the industry.

Additionally, donations were made to the Alliance’s Emerging Talent Partners Program, a vital initiative that funds educational opportunities through both the University Associate and CISR High School Programs. This program equips high school and university students with the foundational skills and knowledge needed to excel in insurance.
